HOW TO REGISTER FOR A COURSE

How To Register

  1. BY PHONE: 212-774-0780
  2. BY FAX: 212-774-0792
  3. BY MAIL: Complete the registration form and mail it to MMC Office of Special Programs with full payment.
  4. IN PERSON: Come to the Writing Center and CL&L office, 1st floor, Main Building.

Payment Methods

MMC accepts MasterCard, VISA, Discover, checks or money orders.
Regretfully, there is a $50 charge for returned checks.


Registration Fee

One Registration Fee of $20 will cover as many courses as you want to take each semester. A Late Registration Fee of $25 will be imposed when registering later than 3 full business days prior to start date of class.


Refunds

Refund requests must be in writing. Written requests must be mailed, faxed (signature required), or hand delivered only. Please call (212) 774-0780 to confirm receipt of your fax. E-mail requests are not accepted. Requests must be received in the Writing Center and CL&L office one full business day before either:
  • The first scheduled class date to be eligible for a 100% tuition refund or
  • The second scheduled class date to be eligible for a 75% tuition refund (50-65% for courses with two or three sessions only).
Registration fees are not refundable. Non-attendance does not exempt one from the above regulations. No refunds will be approved after the second meeting of a course. Refunds are processed in four to six weeks.


Seniors Discount

The tuition for seniors, 65 and older, will be discounted 10%. The discount applies to the course tuition and not to the registration fee. CL&L courses and Writing Center Master Classes are excluded.
